Once you hit the cap, you pay nothing else to the brokerage for the rest of the year

Grow Roots Realty does not charge monthly brokerage fees. However, agents who choose to join the local REALTOR® association and MLS are responsible for applicable board, MLS, and association dues. These fees are collected solely to remit payment to the local board and are not retained by the brokerage. Participation in the local board is optional and based on each agent’s business needs.

The annual cap is the maximum amount you will pay to the brokerage in a calendar year. Once you reach the cap of $3,500, you will not pay additional brokerage transaction fees for the remainder of that calendar year (January - December). This provides predictability, protects your income, and allows high-producing agents to retain more of what they earn.
